Doctors
Dr. Michelle Ong
MBBS (QLD) FRACGP. DIP. Obstetrician & Gynaecology
Dr Ong is a Malaysian born Chinese. She studied Medicine and Pharmacy at The University of Queensland. She has been working, as a general practitioner in her own General Practice since 1998. She completed her Fellowship in Australian College of General Practitioner in 1997. She had completed her Masters in Pharmacy, and managed pharmacies for several years. Dr Ong decided to become a doctor because she feels she can offer more to make people feel better physically and mentally.
She believes empathy and caring attitude plays a crucial role in her work as a general practitioner. Having brought up 3 children , and provided them with University education, her experience in life has helped her tremendously in her career as a general practitioner caring for families in the communities.
Dr Ong ‘s aim in opening this multi doctor family practice is to extend her passion for caring for people in the community, by providing better medical services.
Dr Ong has patients of all age groups, and is interested in all ALL AREAS of general practice, and ALL age groups.She also has a Diploma in Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1996.
She has a large number of patients with complex chronic diseases. She visits some patients in nursing home, and she does home visits for a handful of patients who are unable to get to her practice for various reasons. She is fluent in Mandarin , Cantonese and other Chinese dialects.

Nelson Kwan
Physiotherapist
Nelson Kwan has a Bachlor’s Degreee in Physiotherapy and practices as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. He has 10 years experience as a Physiotherapist in private practice and public hospitals as well as teaching and mentoring Physiotherapy students. Nelson combines state of the art Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy knowledge with his extensive Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation experience to provide one on one treatment and personalised rehabilitation programs at Recover Physio and Massage. He has a special interest in the management of chronic joint and muscular conditions, as well as exercise rehabilitation.
Phu Mai
Podiatrist
Phu was born in Brisbane and has completed his Podiatry degree at Queensland University of Technology in 2013. He has several years’ experience as a Podiatrist working in private practice, medical centres and the nursing home sector. Phu enjoys all aspects of podiatry care including nail care and skin care, diabetes, heel and foot pains, sports podiatry, dry needling and orthotic therapy. Phu aims to provide his patients with excellent and thorough treatment to get them back on their feet doing the activities that they love.
Yat Kang Fung (Tom)
Dietician
Tom grew up with a passion for food, nutrition and fitness, which led him to pursue a higher education to support his passions. Tom obtained his Master of Dietetics Studies and Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition degree from the University of Queensland. He is also a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
Tom’s areas of interests are chronic disease management, weight management, sports nutrition, diabetes management and renal disease management. What he loves the most about what he does is being able to spread messages that inspire people to feel as good as they can through food, and how to achieve that in a sustainable way.
He gained his clinical experience during clinical placements in various clinical settings including Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, aged care centre and food industry.
